How to Design Your Dream Life (And Actually Make It Happen)šŸ¤āœØ

Main Character Mode: Activated.

✨Your Affirmation of the Week✨

ā€œI am the creator of my life. And every small step I take today is shaping my dream life & dream self.ā€

Hey girlšŸ’•

So far in this How to Become Unrecognizable by Summer series, we’ve talked about:

✨ The secret to reinventing yourself (hint: it starts in your mind).

✨ How to detach from your old self.

✨ How to actually stop caring about what people think (for real).

Now, we’re taking it a step further: Designing the life you actually want.

Because now that you know you’re allowed to change… and that no one is watching you as closely as you think… you’re free to create something that feels exciting, fulfilling, and yours.

So, let’s do it. Let’s get super clear on what your actual dream life looks like—and start making it real.

šŸ’” Step 1: Get Clear on Your Dream Self & Dream Life

Before you can step into your dream life, you need to know exactly who’s living it.

Your future self isn’t some distant fantasy—she’s already within you. But to bring her to life, you need clarity. So, let’s go deep.

Grab a journal (or your Notes app) and answer these questions as if you are already her:

✨ Your Dream Self

  • Who is the version of me I’m stepping into?

  • How does she start and end her day?

  • What are her daily non-negotiables?

  • How does she speak to herself when no one is watching?

  • What habits & beliefs does she refuse to entertain?

  • What kind of energy does she bring into a room?

  • How does she think & make decisions?

  • What does she value most in life?

  • How does she respond to challenges or setbacks?

  • Does she let fear hold her back—or does she move anyway?

  • What standards does she hold for herself & others?

  • What version of me do I need to let go of to fully step into her?

šŸ’– How She Shows Up in the World

  • How does she carry herself? (Posture, tone, presence)

  • What does her dream wardrobe look like?

  • What kind of conversations does she engage in?

  • How does she invest in herself? (Books, fitness, wellness, learning)

šŸ“Œ Your Dream Life

  • What does a typical day in my dream life look like?

  • Where do I wake up? What does my morning routine involve?

  • What excites me about my day?

  • What work lights me up? How do I make money? Do I have a dream job or my own business?

  • Who am I surrounded by? What kind of relationships do I have?

  • How do I take care of my body & mind?

  • Where do I live?

  • How do I spend my free time?

If you haven’t done this yet, it’s time. Your mind can’t create what it isn’t clear on.

šŸ’” Pro tip: If you want this to hit deeper, write your answers in the present tense. Instead of ā€œI want to live in New York,ā€ say, ā€œI wake up in my NYC apartment, pour my morning coffee, and sit by the window as the city wakes up.ā€

Your brain loves clarity. The more real it feels, the faster you align with it.

šŸ’” Step 2: Turn Your Vision Into a Plan With ChatGPT

Now that you’ve mapped out your dream self and dream life, it’s time to make it happen.

The biggest mistake people make? Stopping at the vision stage. But you’re not here to daydream—you’re here to become.

I remember the first time I did this exercise. When I read my journal entry, it brought tears to my eyes—because for the first time, I could actually see myself in that moment. Everything had turned out perfectly. I was living my dream life. I had become my dream person. Wow. It was beautiful. And even now, it’s still one of my favorite things to read.

That’s the power of this step. So, let’s make it real for you.

Ask ChatGPT:

šŸ”¹ ā€œWrite a journal entry as if I am already living my dream life, based on these details: [Insert details from Step 1].ā€

Reading this back will help you embody this version of yourself on a deeper level. Then, take it a step further:

šŸ”¹ ā€œCreate a 12-week plan to help me step into my dream self and get closer to my dream life.ā€

This will give you concrete goals, milestones, and action steps to follow—because manifestation works best when paired with action.

šŸ’” Step 3: Establish a Schedule That Aligns With Your Future Self

You don’t become her by chance—you become her through your daily actions.

Ask ChatGPT:

šŸ”¹ ā€œCreate a structured daily schedule for me based on my dream life and future self. These are my current obligations: [Insert your current schedule—full-time job, university, side hustle, etc.]. Make it realistic but optimized for growth.ā€

Here’s an example of how this could look if you’re balancing work, school, or a busy schedule:

6:30 AM ā€“ Wake up, journal for 5 minutes, and set an intention for the day.

7:00 AM ā€“ Quick movement (10–20 min stretch, walk, or workout).

7:30 AM ā€“ Shower, get ready, and have a high-energy breakfast (no scrolling).

8:00 AM–9:00 AM ā€“ Commute or prep for the day (listen to an inspiring podcast or audiobook).

12:00 PM ā€“ Lunch and mindset reset (step outside, listen to something uplifting, or journal).

5:30 PM ā€“ Unwind after work/school (walk, workout, or catch up with a friend).

7:00 PM ā€“ Work on passion projects, personal development, or skill-building.

8:30 PM ā€“ Social time, hobbies, or self-care.

10:00 PM ā€“ Wind down routine (skincare, reading, visualization).

10:30 PM ā€“ Sleep, because rest is so important, and so you’re recharged for another day of becoming her.

The key? Start small. Even adding just one habit that aligns with your dream self will create momentum.

šŸ’”Step 4: Bring Your Vision to Life With Pinterest

A vision board isn’t just for aesthetics—it’s a tool to train your brain to recognize opportunities that align with your dream life.

Here’s how to make Pinterest work for you:

šŸŽÆ Be intentional with your pins. Don’t just save aesthetic photos—pin images that represent real habits, places, and experiences you’re working toward.

šŸŽÆ Think beyond fashion. Sure, pin your dream wardrobe—but also pin:

  • The morning routines, travel experiences, and dream homes that align with your goals.

  • Career inspiration, books to read, and the mindset shifts you’re cultivating.

šŸŽÆ Start integrating it NOW.

  • Wear the outfits now—stop saving things for ā€œspecial occasions.ā€

  • Research the events you want to attend (F1 races, tennis tournaments, concerts—whatever excites you!).

  • Sign up for memberships, email lists, and alerts so you’re already in the loop.

Your dream life isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you step into.
