The Secret to Reinventing Yourselfđ¤â¨
It Starts In Your Mind.
â¨Your Affirmation of the Weekâ¨
âI am already becoming the best version of myself. I align myself and my actions with her every single day.â
Hey girlđ
Have you ever decided to change your lifeâlike, for real this time? Maybe you went all in on a new routine, revamped your wardrobe, or started that glow-up era with full force⌠only to feel like nothing actually changed.
At first, you were very motivated. You woke up early, went to the gym, and did the whole âhot girlâ morning routine. But then, life happened. You hit snooze once⌠then twice. Skipped a workout. Slipped back into old habits. And before you knew it, you were right back where you started.
Why? Because you never changed the way you saw yourself.
You can switch up your habits, but if deep down you still believe youâre âthe girl who always gives upâ or âthe one who never follows through,â your actions will always default back to that identity.
Reinvention starts in your mind. Before you can become the new you, you have to detach from the old you. And if you want to become unrecognizable by summer, itâs time to start thinking differently.
Because if you wish to achieve something youâve never had, you have to do something you have never done. (or something like that. I wish I could give credit to whoever first said this, but I definitely recommend keeping this quote in mind.)
Hereâs how. âŹď¸
đĄ Step 1: Rewire Your Self-Concept
Do you want the fastest way to transform your life? Answer: Change how you see yourself.
⢠If you still identify as âthe girl who always procrastinatesâ or âthe one who never follows through,â your actions will match that identity.
⢠Instead, start embodying the energy of the woman who already has the life you want. Ask yourself: How does she think? What choices does she make daily?
⢠You donât become confident, disciplined, or successful overnight. You decide who you are, and then you act accordingly.
đĄ Step 2: Detach from the Old Version of You
If youâre serious about reinvention, you have to stop holding onto outdated beliefs, habits, and even relationships that keep you stuck. What does this mean, you may ask?
⢠The version of you who overthinks, settles, and stays in her comfort zone? She served her purpose, but itâs time to move on.
⢠You donât have to âfixâ her. You simply have to stop identifying with her.
⢠The next time you catch yourself saying, âUgh, I always do thisâ or âIâm just not that type of personâ, pause and ask: Who told me that? And do I actually have to keep believing it? Surprise, surprise, the answer is NO.
đĄ Step 3: Romanticize the Reinvention Process
Reinvention isnât about waking up one day as a completely new personâitâs about falling in love with the process of becoming the best version of yourself, âher.â
⢠Romanticize the small shifts: drinking more water, moving your body, dressing like the woman you admire.
⢠Treat every little upgrade as proof that youâre already stepping into your next level. Buy yourself gifts to celebrate your growth. Not only does this make you feel good (which is so important in this process), but it also lets the universe know that you are worthy of good things.
⢠Remember: You donât have to wait until you achieve that goal or buy something in order to feel like âthat girl.â Start embodying her now. What she thinks, what she wears, what she listens toâŚ.etc. And no, this is not the same thing as âfaking till you make itâ; this is you embodying your dream self, you are her. Right now. So, start acting like it.
This Weekâs Homework đ
Growth doesnât just happenâyou have to be intentional about it and put in the effort. Here is what you can do this week to get yourself one step closer.
1ď¸âŁ Journal prompt: Who is the version of me Iâm stepping into? What does she do differently than I do now?
2ď¸âŁ Action step: Identify one habit, mindset, or belief from the old you that youâre ready to leave behindâand actively stop engaging with it.
Yes, in the beginning, it may be hard, and you may catch yourself going back into that old mindset or belief or that habit that you are so used to, but you have to keep going. Be consistent and stay persistent.
(Reply and tell me which habit, mindset, or belief you are committed to leaving behind, and I will be your accountability buddyâI love hearing about your glow-up journey!)
