Inspired by the month of love and the infamous upcoming Valentine's Day, I thought the topic of self-love seemed very fitting. Especially since self-love plays a HUGEEE part in living an abundant life.

Self-love isn’t just a feeling—it’s something we practice daily whether we do it consciously or unconsciously. And the truth is, loving yourself doesn’t always look like bubble baths and facemasks (although those are nice too šŸ˜‰).

Most times, self-love is setting boundaries (with yourself & others). Saying no. Letting go of perfection. Giving yourself grace.

This week, let’s take intentional steps toward deepening our self-love—one small action at a time. Below I’ve created a 7-day self-love challenge for you. You can choose to do each day, or mix and match however feels right for you. šŸ’–

7 Days of Self-Love Challenge šŸ’Œ

✨ Day 1: Speak to Yourself Like Someone You Love

Today, focus on catching your inner dialogue. If you find yourself being self-critical, pause and ask: Would I say this to my best friend? If not, reframe it with kindness.

✨ Day 2: Do One Thing Just for You

Not for work. Not for productivity. Not for University. Not for anyone else. Just something that brings you joy—whether that’s reading, dancing, getting your favorite coffee, or watching your favorite feel-good movies (cough* cough* pride and prejudice?)

✨Day 3: Set (or Reinforce) a Boundary

Honor your energy today. Whether it’s muting notifications, saying no to something (or someone) that drains you, or giving yourself permission to rest—set a boundary and stick to it.

✨ Day 4: Write Yourself a Love Letter

Yes, a real one. I mean when was the last time you received one? Start with ā€œDear [Your Name], I am so proud of you for…. I am so proud of you because….ā€ Let the word flow. Then save it for the days you need a reminder of your worth.

 āœØ Day 5: Nourish Your Mind, Body & Soul

Ask yourself: What does my body need today? Maybe it’s a nourishing meal, some stretching, a little meditation, fresh air, or a slow morning. Give yourself what you need, not just what you should do.

✨ Day 6: Forgive Yourself for Something

Release the guilt that you have been holding onto. Whether it’s a mistake, a missed opportunity, or something small or big—remind yourself that you did the best you could with what you knew at the time.

The more you forgive yourself and let go, the more space you open up to allow greater experiences in your life. Plus, it just feels good.

✨ Day 7: Romanticize Your Life

Buy yourself flowers. Play your favorite playlist while cooking. Dance to your favorite one-direction song while vacuuming….the list goes on. Slow down and savor the little joys in your beautiful life—the sun on your skin, your favorite tea, and laughs with a friend. You are the main character of your life.
